About 838 Ethiopians who fled to Sudan because of the recent conflict in west Gondar zone, in Amhara regional state, have returned home.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the repatriation process was carried out in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
About 500 Ethiopians sheltered in Shagarab refugee camp will also return home soon after a discussion is held with pertinent bodies, the Ministry added.
