Addis Ababa, March 19, 2021 (Walta) – Permanent Representative of Ethiopia to the United Nations, Ambassador Taye Atskeselassie met with Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Mark Lowcock and discussed the latest developments in Tigray.
Ambassador Taye tweeted that, during the meeting, the two have reviewed the progress made in the provision of humanitarian assistance in the Tigray region.
Ambassador Taye and Under Secretary General Mark Lowcock further underscored the need to raise more funds for the overall humanitarian responses in Ethiopia.
