Addis Ababa, April 13, 2021(Walta) – Wondimu Gezahegn, Consul General of Ethiopia in Istanbul, held a discussion with Erkan Evrenkaya, General Manager of Ponis Metal Industrial Company, about business opportunities in Ethiopia.
Wondimu had explained the existing investment and trade opportunities in the metal manufacturing sector in Ethiopia.
A discussion was also made focusing on Ethiopia’s priority areas of investment, the conducive environment for Foreign Direct Investment, Market opportunity, Incentives given by the government, and the government’s commitment towards investment.
Erkan Evrenkaya for his part expressed the keen interest of the company to invest in exporting construction machinery to the Ethiopian market and to extend the Electric panels, Panel Accessories, Electrical metal cabinet business in Ethiopia’s market by using innovative production techniques and its superior experience.
