Council Lists out Corrupted U.S. Lawmakers

New Jersey’s Democrat Senator Bob Mendez

Addis Ababa, March 22, 2022(Walta) – A number of U.S. lawmakers have been working in favor of the terrorist TPLF, the Ethio-American Development Council (EADC) said, adding they are covering up the criminal faction’s atrocities and urging the U.S. legislators to sanction Ethiopia.

Accordingly, the council accused New Jersey’s Democrat Senator Bob Mendez of receiving 50,000 USD in bribes from TPLF terror group proxies- for quid pro quo- to sanction Ethiopia and Eritrea. California’s San Fernando Valley Congressman Brad Sherman is also charged by the council for receiving 50,000 USD for the same cause.

Noting Senator Mendez is known for political corruption and his support to TPLF is seemingly extended from his old behavior, the Council stressed that ‘Old habits are hard to break.’ “We now know he took at least 42,000 USD in bribe from TPLF Terrorist group,” EADC said in a Twitter post.

Quoting an old media report, the council has exposed that senator Menendez has spent 5,000,000 USD to fight federal corruption charges.

The council has also listed numbers of senators who have allegedly taken thousands of USD in bribes from TPLF proxies based in the U.S.

According to the Ethiopian Herald, the bribe by these senators would exacerbate the situation in Ethiopia as it has been planned to double victimize the Ethiopian people suffering from the TPLF atrocities, EADC emphasized.
