Addis Ababa, December 21, 2022 (Walta) – Senior Ethio Telecom management team led by its CEO, Firehiwot Tamiru, is visiting South Sudan.
The delegation discussed with the Ministry of Information, Communications and Postal Service, the National Communication Authority and other senior leaders of South Sudanese about telecom infrastructure and works, which can be carried out in cooperation between the two nations.
Ethio Telecom CEO Firehiwot briefed participants about works on infrastructure development and administration as well as affordability.
The company is being Africa’s oldest telecom operator, serving for 128 years, the CEO added.
The South Sudanese authority appreciated Ethio Telecom’s interest in assessing the telecom market and assured their support on every effort in the sector, according to the company.
