Addis Ababa, April 26, 2023 (Walta) – Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Demeke Mekonnen met with the President of Burundi, Everiste Ndyisshimye.
They discussed on the bilateral and regional issues of common interest, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Demeke conveyed the message of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed to the President.
He arrived in Bujumbura yesterday continuing his trip to four Afrcan countries.
Upon arrival in Bujumbura, he was warmly received by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Burundi.
