Addis Ababa, April 26, 2023 (Walta) Ethiopian Investment Commission Commissioner, Lelissie Neme stated that the government is ready to provide all the necessary support to international investors investing in Ethiopia.
Speaking at the opening of the “Invest Ethiopia 2023”, an investment promotion forum opened at Addis Ababa today, the commissioner indicated that Ethiopia has an investment comparative advantage owing to its infrastructure development, Industrial Parks development, effective logistics, conducive investment policy, and directives, and skilled labor.
Hence international investors are encouraged to invest in sectors such as agriculture, mining, manufacturing, tourism, energy, ICT, and others to which the government gives high priority.
“Invest Ethiopia 2023” is officially launched today with the presence of higher government officials and international stakeholders.
Keynote speeches, forums, exhibitions, networking, business showcasing, selected company visit, and other events will be expected to take place at the three-day forum.
