Addis Ababa, July 14, 2022 (Walta) – Ambassador Nebiat Getachew, Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, met with the Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Kamal Rezig, and discussed ways and means of developing the prospects for trade partnership between the two countries.
The meeting followed up on the discussion between President Sahle-Work Zewde and President Abdulmadjid Tebboune, where they agreed to take concrete steps to raise the volume of trade exchanges and expand areas of bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest.
The Minister stressed that the two sides wanted to activate new win-win partnerships. In this regard, they agreed to organize a trade mission and a promotional exhibition for Algerian products in the capital Addis Ababa and a similar one in Algiers.
