Addis Ababa March 12, 2021 (Walta) – Ethiopians have participated in a rally in front of the United Nations Headquarters in New York and Washington DC.
Thousands of Ethiopians from different parts of the US took part in the rally.
The protesters called upon the United Nations and other parties to end false propaganda spread by extremists of TPLF.
They also have urged the New York Times, CNN, and other international media outlets to end the use of unsubstantiated information that violates Ethiopian sovereignty.
The protesters expressed support for the government’s law enforcement action in Tigray State as well as its ongoing humanitarian assistance and rehabilitation efforts in Tigray and other areas.
They also called upon the United States to end interference in the negotiations of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam and fairly and to play a positive role in Sudanese militants removal from Ethiopia’s Sovereign state.
The protesters also reaffirmed their support for Ethiopia’s unity, development, and peace by cracking down on false information.
