Addis Ababa, November 03, 2021 (Walta) – Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) and United Nations Office of Higher Commissioner of Human Rights (UNOHCHR) announced the terrorist TPLF launched an attack on the Northern Command of Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) on 3rd November 2020.
The Ethiopian government has issued a statement with respect to the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report of the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) and United Nations Office of Higher Commissioner of Human Rights (UNOHCHR) on situations on northern part of Ethiopia.
The Joint Investigation Report, which identified the TPLF as the founder of the war, confirmed that the terrorist TPLF had instigated attack on the Ethiopian Defense Forces.
The report documents the harrowing suffering and pain that ordinary Ethiopians have endured since the onset of the conflict.
The accounts of those whose dignity and humanity have been violated in the context of the conflict is heartbreaking, the report underlined.
