Addis Ababa, April 12, 2024 (Addis Walta) The President of Ethiopia and the President of Switzerland opened the third International Cooperation Forum (IC Forum) in Basel, Switzerland on Thursday, 11 April.
The IC Forum focuses on promoting global peace and is organized by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
While in Switzerland, the Ethiopian President met with the Swiss President and discussed the strong relationship between their countries, economic opportunities, and security issues.
They also discussed the current state of Ethiopia and security issues in East Africa. Over 900 participants are expected to attend the forum in person, with 800 more participating online.
