Addis Ababa, March 10, 2023 (Walta) – State Minister of FDRE Ministry of Tourism, Selamawit Dawit, gave explanation on Ethiopian tourism destinations and best practices.
Participating a three-day conference on “The Best Practices Workshop 2023” in Cape Town in South Africa, State Minister Selamawit shared Ethiopia’s best tourism practices and its destinations to the attendants.
Over 13 African countries took part, in the workshop that aims to achieve regional and continental integration, according to Ethiopian Tourism Ministry of Tourism.
Held between March 8 and 10, 2023, the workshop is taken place under the theme: “Rethinking Tourism – Tourism Transformation; Women, Youth and Community Participation.”
On the sidelines of the workshop, the Sate Minister held discussion with the Director General of the South African Tourism Institute, Victor Tharage, on the implementation of the projects the two countries had previously signed to work together.
The director is expected to visit Addis Ababa at the end of March 2023.
