Addis Ababa, May 23, 2023 (Walta) Ethiopian State Minister of Finance, Eyob Tekalegn (Ph.D) held a virtual meeting with Etisalat Company Group CEO, Hatem Dowidar.
The Abu Dhabi-based telecom company has shown interest to take part in the Ethiopian telecom market. It has shown readiness to work with the Ethiopian Government and other players in the sector to exploit investment opportunities.
The two parties have scheduled to meet in Addis Ababa next week for further discussion.
Etisalat, established in 1976, operates across eighteen countries and has over 85 million customers.
