Tanzanian Military Delegation Visits Ethiopia Defense Command, Staff College

Addis Ababa, March 26, 2024(Addis Walta) A delegation from the Tanzanian Defense Command and Staff College visited the Defense Command and Staff College in Ethiopia, as announced by the Ministry of Defense of Ethiopia today.

Terefe Churiso, the Deputy Commander of the Defense Command and Staff College, and Colonel responsible for Education and Training, emphasized that the visit by the Tanzanian delegation aims to enhance military cooperation between the two nations. He stated that both parties had exchanged diverse experiences during the visit.

Additionally, he explained that the college is dedicated to training senior military leaders from Ethiopia and neighboring countries, offering various programs ranging from short courses to master’s degrees. Colonel Jafar Ramadan Aristide, the leader of the Tanzanian delegation, expressed his satisfaction with the warm reception he received and his astonishment at the impressive work being carried out at the college.

The Tanzanian delegates also held discussions with the college on various topics aimed at fostering collaboration between the two entities.

The delegation comprises military officers from 12 different countries and leaders from the Tanzanian defense command college staff, representing a diverse and multinational group.
