Addis Ababa, March 11, 2023(Walta) – Türkiye Ambassador to Ethiopia Yaprak Alp announced that her country has intended to further bolster ties with Ethiopia in the economic and business sectors.
Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen bid farewell to Yaprak Alp, the outgoing Ambassador of Türkiye to Ethiopia.
Ambassador Yaprak Alp said Türkiye appreciates the Government and peoples of Ethiopia for showing solidarity with Türkiye by sending a search and rescue team in the areas affected by the recent deadly earthquake.
She pointed out that Turkish investment in Ethiopia is the second-largest, according to Foreign Affairs Ministry, Ethiopia.
