Addis Ababa, January 05, 2021 (Walta) – The U.S Horn of Africa envoy Jeffrey Feltman will visit Ethiopia on Thursday for meetings with Ethiopian senior government officials. 

“Feltman will be in Addis on Jan. 6 for meetings with senior government officials of Ethiopia to discuss peace talks,” a spokesperson for the U.S, Ned Price said.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Demeke Mekonnen briefed Feltman about the ongoing situations in Ethiopia and suspension of Ethiopia from AGOA may affect the lives of many Ethiopians and puts the longstanding ties between the two countries at stake in last November.
