Addis Ababa, February 01, 2023 (Walta)- Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held bilateral discussion with Kenyan President William Ruto in Somalia.
The two leaders met on the sidelines of the Somalia-Frontline States Summit, regional forum geared towards strengthening the campaign against Al-Shabaab in East Africa.
The Office of the Prime Minister on its Facebook page indicates that the two leaders spoke on bilateral issues including increasing trade and investment, development of infrastructure and other regional matters.
Kenya and Ethiopia are the two key countries contributing armies to fight Al-shabaab in Somalis under African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS).
